Real Estate has been a passion for me mainly because my dad always stressed that the purchase of real estate is the best investment.
After receiving a Masters in Psychology, I was unable to find a job so I fell into becoming a commercial lines underwriter. I was then promoted to underwriting commercial business in excess of one million in premium (Marriott Corporation, for example) and then to Underwriting and Marketing Manager reporting to a senior vice president in San Francisco.
Throughout this wonderful career in insurance, I purchased real estate starting with condominiums, homes and raw land. It wasn’t until I decided to become a real estate professional that I realized that I was not being served as I should have been.
Real Estate is complicated and knowledge is power. As a Realtor, I endeavored to right the wrongs I had experienced as a client. Education in this business is paramount. It provides for both the protection of my client’s financial best interests as well as the highest level of my fiduciary duty to my client.
